Configuring Host Payout with Stripe

To set up your Stripe account head to your Account, then select Payout Account. Click on Set Up Payouts and you will be redirected to set up your Stripe account.

While most of the questions asked are straight-forward, we wanted to make note of a few that may be confusing:

1. Type of Business: Most likely, you will be setting up your account as an Individual/ Sole-Proprietorship.
2. Job Title: This is your side hustle, so give yourself the title you want. Owner, Manager, Chief Storage Officer… whichever fits you best.
3. Industry: When you click on the drop-down menu, you will see a search function. Type in Other Personal Services as this is likely the best fit.
4. Your Website: www.Storzzy.com works great here
5. Product Description: This can be as simple as “Renting out extra space in my house for storage.” Just a simple description of the product/ service related to this account.
6. Add an account for payouts: Here you can choose to direct your payouts to your bank account or a debit card, whichever you prefer.
7. Customer support phone number: As you are likely your own customer support, enter your own phone number here.

Once you have filled in and submitted all the required information, you will be directed back to your Storzzy Account page and are all set to start renting out your extra space!

Like your Storzzy account, it is important to keep your Stripe account up to date. If at any time you need update your information simply make your way back to your Account page -> Payout Account and click on View Stripe Account. You will be redirected to Stripe where you can make any changes necessary.
