What you charge for your space is completely up to you! That said, here are a few helpful tips to keep in mind when determining what to charge:
- What is the size of your space – a whole garage is going to cost more than a closet!
- What security features does your space have (ex: cameras, alarms, temperature control, etc.)?
- What are others in your neighbourhood charging for similar spaces?
- How would your price compare to self-storage companies in the area for units of similar size? How far would a potential Renter have to travel to access these self-storage facilities versus your space?
Keep in mind that whatever you set your Space Rent amount at, you will receive that amount less the Processing Fee (approx 3%
